Essentials of Webcourses@UCF

Essentials of Webcourses@UCF is self-paced, just-in-time online training for anyone who wishes to learn the tools and functionality of the university’s learning management system (LMS), Canvas by Instructure.

PAL6000

The Center for Distributed Learning’s newest faculty development program for online courses, PAL6000, is now available to IDL6543 graduates or OFRA-certified instructors who wish to design and facilitate an adaptive course using Realizeit at UCF. PAL6000 is designed to provide information related to pedagogical, logistical and technical aspects of teaching adaptive courses.

Panopto Essentials is training for faculty credentialed to teach online who would like to incorporate some asynchronous content delivery using the online delivery platform, Panopto.

Webcourses@UCF Training

Webcourses@UCF training workshops are available to all faculty, staff and teaching assistants employed by UCF. Request workshops on using Webcourses@UCF, as well as related tools like Honorlock.

Zoom Essentials

Zoom Essentials is a self-enroll course intended for experienced online faculty who have already completed IDL6543 or TLC or have completed ADL5000 and have taught for at least three different semesters online. It is a self-paced experience for faculty who want to migrate or build face-to-face/blended course elements of classroom instruction for synchronous remote delivery using Zoom. The time commitment for completion is 2-4 hours.
