About the Award
The Chuck D. Dziuban Award for Excellence in Online Teaching recognizes one outstanding UCF faculty member who must have taught at least one blended or fully online (M, W, V, RV) course within the previous academic year.
Deadline for Submissions
The 2016 submission due date is TBD. All final submissions are due through the Award Nomination Form. All submission information must be provided in order to be considered for this award.
- must be nominated by a faculty member, department chair, colleague, or be self–nominated
- must be a full-time tenured, tenure-earning, or non-tenure-earning faculty member (all full-time faculty are eligible)
- must have taught at least one blended or fully online (M, W, V, RV) course within the previous academic year
- must not have received this same award within the previous three years.
The winner will receive an iPad tablet along with a stipend to attend the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) International Conference in Orlando. He/She will be encouraged to submit a proposal to present during the conference program.
Chuck Dziuban is Director of the Research Initiative for Teaching Effectiveness at the University of Central Florida (UCF) where he has been a faculty member since 1970 teaching research design and statistics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. - Learn More about Chuck
