Is Online Learning for Me?
If this is the first time you are taking an online class or thinking about taking one, this online learning site includes information about the expectations and requirements of an online class.
Online Programs & Courses
You can visit the UCF Guide to Online Programs for the most current listing of fully online and degree completion online programs currently offered at the University.
If you would like to search for individual fully and partially Web-based classes, please visit our Online Course Search Utility. (Note: Registration for all UCF classes is done through the myUCF portal)
Admission to UCF
You can visit the graduate admissions site, or the undergraduate admissions site for information on the admission process. Each site includes instructions and links for completing an application online. Students who plan to enroll in Web-based or video-based programs must be admitted to the University and must follow the same admission procedures as other students. To facilitate your admission, apply early.
Transfer Students
New transfer students should visit the Office of Transfer Services for information about transferring to UCF. You can also view the Knight Quest Transfer Guide for answers to common questions about the transfer process.
International Students
UCF's office of International Student and Scholar Services provides guidance for foreign students regarding INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) and SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) rules, regulations and reporting. Visit the International Services events calendar for a list of news releases and workshops of relevance to current and prospective international students.
Undergraduate Orientation
Newly admitted degree seeking freshmen and transfer students are required to complete an orientation that includes advising and class registration activities. Information on orientation sessions is mailed to all new students upon acceptance to the University. Transfer students entering an online program can complete their orientation on campus or online. For more information visit the orientation website.
Graduate Orientation
The graduate student orientation is predominantly self study using materials available online. However, there are campus-based welcome and orientation events scheduled for new students. Complete information is available at the Graduate Studies website.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition and fees are set by the Board of Trustees and the Florida State Legislature and are subject to change without notice. Tuition and fees can be paid by credit card through the myUCF portal. Fees vary according to residency status. Information on Florida residency for tuition purposes can be found in the undergraduate catalog.
Office of Financial Aid
Students taking online courses qualify for financial aid and scholarships the same as all UCF students. For more information on financial aid and scholarship options please visit the Office of Financial Aid website.
