Graduate Certificate in Special Education
The graduate certificate program in Special Education provides out-of-field teachers with some of the coursework needed to meet state certification requirements in special education. This graduate certificate will help out-of-field teachers become more effective in their classroom and will enhance the education of children and youth with disabilities.
Required Courses Total Credit Hours: 18

EEX 6061 Instructional Strategies Pre-K-6
EEX 6065 Programming for Students with Disabilities at the Secondary Level
EEX 6107 Teaching Spoken and Written Language
