Graduate Certificate in Online Educational Media
The graduate certificate in Online Educational Media provides an opportunity for teachers and
library media specialists to become proficient in the skills and training needed to administer
and manage an effective media program in the Florida K-12 public schools. Students will
acquire the subject matter needed to meet the professional educational media standards
developed by the Florida Department of Education (FL DOE), the American Library Association
(ALA)/ American Association of School Librarians (AASL), and the National Council for
Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
Courses taken in this program with a grade of "B" or better will transfer into the Educational
