Graduate Certificate in Community College Education

The graduate certificate program in Community College Education aims to prepare individuals for instructional and administrative leadership in these institutions. Typically, students who enroll in the certificate program fall under one of the following categories:

  • Enrolled solely as a certificate seeking graduate student
  • Dually enrolled in the Masters of Arts/Community College track degree
  • Dually enrolled in Doctor of Education Curriculum and Instruction program, with a specialization in the Community College

All courses are available in a Web-based format and must be completed at UCF.

EDH 6053 The Community College in America
EDH 6081 Contemporary Problems in Community Colleges
EDH 6204 Community College Organization, Administration, and Supervision
EDH 6215 Community College Curriculum
EDH 6305 Teaching and Learning in the Community College

EDH 6053 and EDH 6305 are often completed by faculty preparing for tenure and promotion review in the Florida Community College System.
