Posted on May 19, 2013April 12, 2024 by cdladmin2013 Dziuban Award – Pavel Zemliansky, Ph.D. Pavel Zemliansky, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Writing and Rhetoric, College of Arts and Humanities, was awarded the Chuck D. Dziuban Award for Excellence in Online Teaching by the Center for Distributed Learning (CDL). The award presentation occurred during the Showcase event that concluded the spring section of CDL’s faculty development program for online and blended teaching, IDL6543. Dr. Zemliansky received the 2013 Dziuban Award for demonstrating excellence in online teaching for his course, ENC6247 Proposal Writing. Tom Cavanagh (right) congratulates the 2013 Chuck D. Dziuban is an internationally acclaimed leader in online learning and, among many other recognitions, was named UCF’s first Pegasus Professor and is currently a Professor Emeritus.
