Services

The Center for Distributed Learning provides leadership and offers services in support of students, faculty, and external promotion activities. 

Marketing Distributed Learning Programs and Courses
We develop and produce brochures, maintain and update UCF's Online@UCF website, and assist in the development of marketing plans with the colleges. 

Long-Range Planning
From needs assessment to systems design to implementation, we work with UCF's colleges to prepare the University Long-Range Plan for Distributed Learning. 

Learner Support
We provide on-site and Web-based registration for open enrollment students, facilitate orientation sessions for Web-based and media enhanced courses, and support the development of the master class schedule for distributed learning courses. 

Faculty and Program Development
Collaboration on faculty training, support for distributed learning program development, and customized computer searches for funding opportunities related to distance education are a few of a broad range of coordination functions we provide for UCF faculty. 

Collecting Data and Preparing Reports
We interface with UCF and State University System offices to ensure that accurate and timely data are collected and reported on distributed learning statistics.
